cYs Yoga Therapy Training Prerequisites, Diploma, Fees & Application

Prerequisites

• The Further Studies Therapy Programme is open for application to all Yoga Teachers on the current BWY Teachers Register.
• Applicants will be asked to complete a full cYs Foundation Course prior to acceptance.
• A committment to maintaining a consistent home practice will also be helpful.

Fees

The total cost for the 2011-2013 course will be £1900 plus approx £1600 Personal lesson and Suoervison hours fees and approx £75 BWY registration and completion costs.

This breaks down into yearly cycles of £950 course fees plus approx £800 121 fees:

• £190 each for five three day workshops in Bristol including refreshments, a delicious vegetarian lunch Saturday and Sunday but no accommodation, there are good choices locally and a resource list is available. The weekends are from 2.30pm Fri afternoon to around 2.00pm Sun afternoon. The fee also includes a 350 page colour Course Manual.
• £800 per year (approx average if based on £40 per hour).
  With Year one comprising 20 hours of 121’s with 10 hours of personal tuition and 10 hours of group and individual supervision.
  Year two will comprise 20 hours of 121’s with 5 hours of personal tuition and 15 hours of group and individual supervision. This will be payable directly to the teacher or supervisor at the time of tuition.

A Programme Registration Deposit of £350 is required. This will not be refundable but will be offset against the final two weekend’s fee. All Programme fees must be paid for whether or not the student is able to attend. Fees will be due at the time of tuition.
