cYs Postgraduate Training Programme Overview, Dates and Schedule

The  Further Studies Yoga Therapy Training 
Programme is based in Bristol and offers an approved and accredited two year Yoga Further Studies Practitioner Training Programme for cYs 
approved Qualified Practitioners who wish to add Postgraduate 
Practitioner skills to their existing Yoga Teaching and Therapy qualification.

The Course can also count for BWY CPD points for BWY Teachers over 2 years.

Framework

The Programme offers an opportunity for any student trained within a cYs Approved Practitioner Training to continue their studies on a BWY Accredited Further Studies Training Course to further develop skills as a Yoga Teaching and Therapy Practitioner.

The Course will draw from the Yoga teachings of TKV Desikachar as learnt by Paul Harvey over 20 years from the study Desikachar made with his teacher the eminent T Krishnamacharya, as a:

  • Healing practice for groups or individuals
  • Holistic Teaching from T Krishnamacharya to TKV Desikachar
  • Reality Philosophy through Texts and Teachers
  • Lifestyle Psychology comparable to Western models
  • Complementary Therapy to support health and recovery from illness

Group

Each group will have a maximum of 16 students.

Teacher

The Programme workshops will be taught by Paul Harvey. Specialist teachers may support the Programme in specific areas if required.
