The Introductory and Foundation Study Workshops are focused on personal development and introducing the student to the principles and practices which inspire and inform Yoga. They are complete in themselves and offer a sound foundation in theory and practice which can be continued and developed through personal lessons, classes, workshops or retreats.
There is no requirement to teach or to intend to teach Yoga. In fact not everybody wants or needs to become a Yoga teacher to further their practice and study. The Foundation Course reflects this viewpoint. Here the development and questions relating to our personal practice and study are the priorities.
In addition, for those interested in teaching Yoga, the Foundation Course also forms part of the preliminary prerequisites necessary before moving towards the professional training offered through the Yoga Training Programme.
